I understand that starting therapy can be daunting. I will help you feel at ease as quickly as possible.
Sessions involve us meeting, talking and listening together with the mutual purpose of paying careful attention to your concerns so that I can understand your particular situation and the struggles that you have. I work carefully, often slowing us down to ensure we pay full attention to what you say and how you feel. It is so easy to gloss over our hurts and insecurities, in everyday life. But here, in the safety and privacy of therapy I will invite you to pause and experience exactly where you are emotionally, to explore where those emotions take you and ultimately to help you to share those sometimes complex emotions with those you love and who love you.
